#Wholesale #Costume Club #Review -#Pirates of the Caribbean

Costumes are so much fun. Whether you're a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean or not, pirate costumes are in! Wholesale Costume Club has a variety of pirate costumes available, one of which I'm reviewing today.

I chose the Pirates of the Caribbean Angelica Womens Deluxe Costume for review. If you remember, Angelica Teach is the daughter of Black Beard in Pirates of the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides.

This set features quite a few items including black pants, a white top, a black faux leather corset, a paisley vest, pirate jacket, a belt with a buckles, a pirate hat with a buckle and feather and boot tops. Officially licensed Pirates of the Caribbean accessories are sold separately. It comes in 3 sizes: Small (Fits most sizes 4-6), Medium (Fits most sizes 8-10), Large (Fits most sizes 12-14) and is made of 100% polyester.

I loved the costume as soon as I saw the picture and ordered a small as according to the size chart. Unfortunately, it didn't really fit me that well. The black pants were really small, more suited for a child's size. I couldn't even pull them up past my lower thighs. Fortunately though, this is easily replaceable with my own black tights. The rest fit alright although the jacket and vest quite  a bit larger than it looks like it should fit from the pictures. The SO said I looked like Puss in Boots. I think with some alterations in the sizing, it could definitely look better. So...no picture of me in it right now. :) The quality and material are pretty good and I liked how the costume came with so many parts and pieces. It does wrinkle easily but you can cool iron it. I would suggest hanging it up in the closet to minimize the wrinkling. You do have to keep in mind that this costume cannot be washed, bleached or tumble dried. The recommended cleaning method is to spot clean with a damp cloth.  Either way, it still makes for a fun costume and if you're a diehard Pirates of the Caribbean fan, this is for you.

Buy It: Shop online at Wholesale Costume Club. The Pirates of the Caribbean: Angelica Womens Deluxe Costume retails for $119.99. Get it at the Wholesale Costume Club for $79.98 (non-members) or $74.96 (Members). Membership fee is $5 for 1 year so if you're buying costumes for the whole family or even more than 1 child, that's already makes up for it.
