With Halloween coming up and the fun and joy of trick-or-treating and well, of course, the yummy candy and chocolate are a given, its equally important to take care of the little ones' oral health. Listerine is really watching out for kids this Halloween with their new line of Smart Rinse Anti-cavity Flouride Rinse now featuring Phineas and Ferb and Barbie. Pretty cool, huh? They come in Mint Shield, Barbie Fab Bubble Gum and Phineas and Ferb Bubble Blast flavors.
Listerine Smart Rinse is a post-brush mouthrinse especially designed for kids that provides 12 hours of cavity protection and strengthens their teeth 99% better than brushing alone. There's also flouride in it, which helps to give the cavity protection a little boost. Kill the germs, kill the bad breath. The mouth wash also tints the particles it rinses out of your mouth. So, you know those little colored chunks in the sink after you spit. Ewww... Ya, that was the stuff stuck between your teeth that didn't come out when you brushed!
Recommended for children 6 and older, the standard instructions are to wish 10ml for one minute and then spit out. For best results, use the rinse twice a day after brushing.
This stuff is pretty neat. I was sent the Phineas and Ferb Bubble Blast to review. First, I was in awe over the bottle and the brilliance that it was. You squeeze the bottle and it fills up this area in the neck of the bottle with the 10cc's that they recommend kids swish around. So you think, well, what if I squeeze too much out? Don't worry, it drains back down until that recommended line! Its too cool! Listerine says to pour the amount out into a separate cup before putting it in your mouth, however, and to not use the lid as a cup. These instructions are so simple that it'd be easy for the kids to pick up. Pretty cool product in general and the flavor wasn't bad either.
